The Alaskan Scottish Club is pleased to announce that the 32nd Annual Alaska Scottish Highland Games will be held at Eagle River Lions Park, see map below, June 29th 2013. Mark your calenders to come out and help us celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the Alaska Scottish Highland Games with special events you will not want to miss. We hope to see you all there!
One of the highlights of the games again this year is the Scotch Tasting. For $30 you receive a souvenir glass and 5 exciting samples of some of the finest single malt Scotch, Scotland's namesake beverage. Tickets will be available at Celtic Treasures. Must be 21 years old to purchase.
Highland Dance Judge and Piper Announced
The Alaskan Scottish Club is pleased to announce the Dance Judge and Piper for the 2013 Games. The dancing judge is Joan Murray, from Richmond, B.C., Canada and the Piper is Tyler MacDonald, of Seattle, WA.
Piping and Drumming Judges Announced
The Alaskan Scottish Club is pleased to announce the Piping and Drumming Judges for the 2013 Games. The Piping and Drumming Judges are Seumus Coyne, Glen Thompson and Andre Tessier.
