Ceilidh band - Old Blind Dogs
Old
Blind Dogs... from Scotland is a band on the cutting edge of
Scotland's roots revival. Dynamic percussion and bluesy harmonica
blend with the small pipes and whistle and a fine blend of guitar,
cittern, mandolin and fiddle.
As Old
Blind Dogs performed to a packed Farr Hall in Inverness-shire, the
2007 Scots Trad Music Awards were in full flight in Fort William.
And it was during the interval of their concert that word reached
the boys that they had picked up the 'Band of the Year 2007' award.
Fiddler Aidan O'Rourke, from Scots groups Blazin' Fiddles and Lau,
collected the award on behalf of the boys and a great night was had
by all, both in Fort William AND Farr.
